If BYU, Utah and TCU had remained there along with Boise and they had somehow managed to overhaul their TV situation, it would have been an infinitely better setup than the Big Crappy East.

That wasn't happening. Sure, if Utah and everyone sticks around, it becomes a nice conference and BYU wouldn't have left. That would have been fine, and I wouldn't think Indy is better than that.

As it is right now, there is not a legit conference option that is better than indy.

I've given Hsaru as much crap as anyone . However, I agree with him on this issue (even if pelagenius' stats don't back my claim).

In fact, just this morning I was thinking which QBs we've played against would I rather have than Riley. I would definitely take BSU, USU, OSU (either one), ND (either one), and SJSU. Utah and Wazzu are a push. I have no recollection of Weber, but I assume he sucked, so no on Weber, Idaho,GT, and likely NMSU.

That's fine. I respectfully disagree and maintain my stance that BYU's offensive problems are bigger than just Riley Nelson sucking.

Ask anyone who knows football which type of QB they'd rather have with a bad OLine, a QB who loves to scramble or a QB who makes quick decisions and gets rid of the ball quickly. And they will go with the latter every time.

I am not joking. The MWC is better than independence. I know most of you don't feel that way but I do. Don't get me wrong. I don't like the MWC and I would complain about being a member of that conference, but I would not be clamoring for independence.

The best college sports experience in recent memory was that last Jimmer season in the MWC with SDSU, UNLV and New Mexico. Football wasn't bad either, but the conference was gutted on that end unfortunately. Hell, we even had a basketball color commentator on the Zapruder Network that would make emphasize a point of discussion during the game with "That's Basketball." Can't beat that.
