And I will say there is definitely a psychological component to this game. I don't know what is going on but there is no way that Utah can win this series so much without some sort of psychological advantages. This many fumbles, turnovers, false starts, etc... something is going on.

Its because he is a jackass who acts like it is just another game. Its not just another game, its a rivalry game where emotions and adrenaline are sky high and he doesn't prepare them to handle it.

BYU was able to recruit players with the "nasty" in addition to the athletic ability in the 80s. We can't get those players en masse anymore. Van Noy is one of them. Max Hall was one of them too. We need many more.

No one is going to replace a coach that routinely goes 10-2. Especially when there's not guarantee the replacement can keep up that kind of record.

There are a lot of people that can go 10-2 with the schedule BYU is playing and the atheletes they can get. Bronco is not a special snowflake.

I sort of feel the same way. This game provides some unbelievable moments. I'd live to see it pick up again in November, but. Beggars can't be choosers.

Bronco is above average and above average is going to piss off people that want excellent. The problem is that there are no excellent options for BYU head coaches.

Doman is horrible. Anae was above average and I wish we would have been satisfied with above average, but we had to blame someone for our problems and Anae was the fall guy.

The offense is a mess and now we don't even have a conference race to play for. My interest level is going to take a big hit again this year.

Riley may not be a great QB, but I really like the guy. In his interview he made no excuses. Said he feels bad for the fans because he knows how bad they want this game. Too bad his talents aren't a bit more when it comes to passing. He is a leader and people want to follow.

I was all for Heaps, but Riley has converted me. He is the best we have right now.

That may be true. But how many would come to BYU? How many currently hold temple recommends? I'd like to see that list of sure-fire, LDS, 10-2 head coaching candidates that would consider BYU.

Toss up. We were finally moving the ball at the end, but Utah made good on their two trips to near the end zone.
