Your stadium doesn't look too different from Haggar Stadium at Jesuit.
Time to highjack this thread back to Texas football - specifically Allen High's new $60 million stadium. I pass the stadium constuction every day and its coming along nicely. I've lived in Allen for 20+ years so there's a chance I may have known Viking's HS girlfriend. When we built our house, it was two wards; now it's six plus a Singles branch. During that time, Allen has grown from about 25K to 80K plus and remained one high school. There have always been a few LDS players on the football team.

Learning that Rockwall has an indoor practice facility, it should only be a matter of time before Allen builds one to keep up. Afterall, 2011 5-A champ Southlake Carroll has had an IPF for years - the Dallas Cowboys use it on occasion.

Friday Night Lights in Texas is an experience. Some may rightly question spending $60 million on a football stadium. But football is part of the fabric of Texas culture and having one high school and team has helped build a community. It also helps the LDS presence in the community to have an LDS WR who earned all-state honors. "Those Mormons may all be going to Hell but damn #19 can run and catch with the best of 'em".

              Holy moly.

I haven't spoken with her since i gave the greatest farewell address ever given in the Bowser chapel, Richardson Texas stake center several decades ago. I heard things haven't gone as she planned but that happens to most of us and sure hope she's doing well.

A few days old, and probably hashed out already here, but I find it despicable that George Bayles gets away with all of his shady behavior. Coach Wong may have taught the worst sex ed ever (yes, I did take health class from him), but Bayles is in no way an educator.

This can't be right. The viking clan isn't from utah.

Bayles was a disaster. Unbelievable what kind of damage he did in just a few years.

Was uprooted halfway through my high school experience to Provo. Oh, and add Connecticut to that list. Divorce in a family tends to take people to different states.

I still can't believe he's getting away with everything. The way he ran the administration was such a mess.

                                The important question is...

Does this mean Utah now has a bigger in with Timpview? Will Cary steer the best recruits to his bro, or will BYU continue to do well there?
