For real? I can't believe he's choosing Cal over BYU or Oregon. Cal freaking sucks.

It's a defensible choice IMO. Cal puts plenty of folks into the NFL, so if he has any aspirations of pro football, he isn't hurt. If he, like most college guys, doesn't go pro, he (potentially) walks away with a degree from UC Berkeley for free. Not a bad deal.

Also, choosing between sunny and 70 degrees for most of the year or raining non stop.

And who knows if Oregon will keep the magic going now that Chip Kelly is gone. Remember, the last time Oregon was seen without Chip Kelly they were getting clubbed to death in the Las Vegas Bowl by BYU.

And finally - is he into Asian girls? If so, jackpot.

I'm just looking at the team. They are breaking in a new coaching staff and the new staff isn't the staff that sent all those guys to the NFL. It seems like they are a 6 loss team nearly every year. They had a few years under Tedford where they won 10 games, but that was a while ago. Oregon is a much better program and has continuity of the coaching staff right now, despite losing Chip Kelly.

It's a good school for sure.

Not a sexy class but I like that both lines have been the focus. More JUCOs than I'd like but in the immediate future it appears to be a decent group. I stiLL remain focused on position battles but I think we really filled some holes.
