How does this hurt LSU? With him in the title game, LSU gave up 21 points, scored zero points and didn't make it past midfield. How could it possibly be worse the next time?

Not really, not with their roster. Alabama lost Mark ingram. And then won the national title two seasons later. I'm not sure what you mean by "electric playmaker." Perhaps you can link some of his highlights from the title game?

LSU obviously feels that the cost of keeping their electric playmaker outweighs the benefit of having him. That is fairly self-evident. You should asking these questions of LSU, not me. I am simply in agreement with LSU. The benefit of having him was marginal. LSU is good every year, they have a slew of great players to help them beat South Carolina and Vanderbilt and Florida. In the biggest game of the year he failed to show up at all. So why will they miss him? Apparently they won't.

if he were that valuable, they would overlook the rules. lol. this is an SEC team we are talking about. What did he do, kill someone?

Im not saying he isnt a great player. I am saying that he won't really be missed. And LSU literally could not play worse than they did in that title game. Adios, T-Matt.

He's been willing to discpline players and kick kids off the team, which is more than we can say for most of the other coaches in the SEC. Urban Meyer suspended a guy for a whole entire half of football for gouging at the eyes of other players. Auburn paid Scam Newton to come and didn't cooperate with the NCAA investigation that ensued.

The SEC is a disgraceful conference, and you won't get any argument from me about their cheating. But Miles will throw kids off the team, even kids that are good players like Mathieu when stuff is goign on.

I just heard about the Honey Badger. Honestly, the biggest impact will be the fact that we no longer have a guy on the team that has a clever profane Internet video done by a guy with an effeminate lisp. LSU is to cornerbacks as BYU is to fat white slow guys on the OL.

He was not a great cover corner. He was a great safety/LB pretending to be a corner. He had a great nose for the ball and for making devastating hits. He was a great athlete. Claiborne was better as a shut down corner last year and everybody knew it. Marginal impact at best I think, but I will poll some friends.
