Sorry but if you haven't noticed we are not playing a 1-AA team and a team I guarantee is not bowl eligible in our first two games. We are actually playing a traditional SEC power and one of the most storied programs in college football history.

Bigger fish to fry, we will focus on Utah when the time comes. But I can understand why the Utes would want to look so far ahead.

Wow. Way to go out on a limb there.

Ole Miss? They're the only team in the SEC West not to play in the SEC title game. Which puts them in the same company as Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Traditional power indeed.

You guys can't really think that Utahs Pac-12 schedule this year is a good one. No Oregon or Stanford by far the two best teams this year. You don't even get USC at home. Larry Scott respects you so much that he is making you travel to Pullman and Tucson the two shittiest destinations in the pac-12.

Not to mention utah is doing all of this on their own dime.

We will enjoy Oxford, Honolulu, Austin, and Dallas.

While you enjoy Pullman and Tucson. The best road game is against Cal and that is only because you get to play in At&T park home of the World Champion San Francisco Giants.

So, while we are playing at a crappy time of the year and it doesn't have the same intensity it usually does, I am very much looking forward to watching Heaps & co. apply a thick coat shellac all over the Utes' behind. I think this is our year for a lopsided victory.

As long as it is played in September, it will be considered a "nice to have" victory on the schedule and nothing more. Oh sure, it's great fodder for the message board, for co-workers (if you live in Utah) and maybe for some folks at Church, but other than that as CJ said, both teams will have bigger fish to fry, especially early in the season.

It'll be off the regular schedule in what? 2-3 years?

I'd be happy starting up a rivalry with Utah State. They're not as good as Utah currently, but they hate us just as much.
