I have an earlier documented use of "Oh brother" than JL, but I've been happy to let him use it and even claim it as his own. Feel free to use it as well, if you'd like.

I'd be happy starting up a rivalry with Utah State. They're not as good as Utah currently, but they hate us just as much.

Utah fans'll be busy talking rivalry smack with all of their Colorado alumni coworkers.

START a rivalry? We have played Utah State 109 times. The 'hatred' between the two fanbases is more filial and is far less toxic than with byu. Both fanbases share a hatred for the inbred cousins in Provo. I would also love to play the Aggies more in the future because it shifts money from one pocket to the other and keeps it all in the state system.

After last night's game, are there still fans here who think that they may not want to play BYU in the future so your schedule isn't too difficult? I've always found that line or reasoning pathetic. It's a shame A.D. Hill was saying it not too long ago on the radio.

You only play 12 games a year and you want to waste one on a team like Montana St?
This isn't schedule smack, as I am fully aware of some of the pathetic games BYU has scheduled. But to consider not playing your rival because your schedule might be too hard? Please. No more talk of needing a warm-up game or difficult conference schedules. If the BYU-Utah rivalry is ever not played, it will be a shame and whoever makes the decision is a coward and an idiot.

Don't ever let that happen.

I reserve the right to revise this based on next weekend's results, but based on what I saw from these two teams in week one this could be one of the lower scoring rivalry games. The defenses seem far ahead of the offenses.
