In general parlays are a suckers bet. You would be better off betting individual games over the course of a season. However i do find putting a low amount (like 20 bucks) on a 3 game parlay when I only bet three games on a given weekend to be fun. My theory is that would hate to miss out on the kicker if I picked all three right. I don't bother with anything over a three game parlay and I never put much money in a parlay.

I understand what you are saying, but if your more of a casual gambler like myself and only bet 2 to 3 times a football season, a parlay is the way to go.

I didn't even look at other games lines I was so amped for last week and since I learned the hard way, thanks Stanford!, that you never bet on the team you cheer for I am 0-0 for the season.

Not a lot of great action on the board this week for me, the board looks like a lot of places with enough points to tease people into action. Huge home dogs, which are a death warrant to me. I don't care how bad the team you are playing is, I hate giving 20+ points on the road. The home team is always going to keep trying to score even when the game is over, those are scores that kill covers. I would put my whole bankroll on Wisconsin, that line should be closer to 30.

Thanks to Donuthole placing the bet for me, I made some scratch on Stanford -21. I also played two parlays that weren't even close, but came out slightly ahead.

Its an all favorite go of it. One method I like to use is 10-20 point road favorites. They cover ~63% of the time. Also over the last 10 years there are three teams who are 60%+ ATS. They are OHio St., Va Tech and Boise.
