    Actually, I agree with you.

Auburn certainly didn't seem to have any trouble with it.

Kal slowed it down. And I don't want to hear about the faking injury crap HFNW. That is a bunch of crap that Oregon fans are trying to use to justify the offense being slowed down.

i was at that game last year. cal's defense played a great game, and the alleged phony injuries had nothing to do with it.

Defensive coordinators came up with answers to Oklahoma's wishbone, Nebraska's power option, BYU's air attack, Houston's Run and Shoot, etc. Oregon's spread offense is run exceptionally well but it can be matched and I think the clock is already running on it.

LOL I never said that someone can't figure out the spread and stop it, I never said that Oregon was unstoppable and would just keep running the same plays forever without ever changing or adapting to defenses that figure it out.

I said I'll take the bet that Monte Kiffin isn't the guy to do it. You can read the Oregon thread I had last year, I was scared of the Cal game all year. They pose the biggest challenge in the P12 to Oregon being "figured out".

PAC12 Facebook feed says it will be "major news on developments regarding the Pac-12 Network."

                  • The news?

The PAC-12 network was finalized this morning in NYC. 4 (Comcast, TimeWarner, Cox and Brighthouse) cable companies come together to form it.

National Network along with 6 PAC-12 Networks (Mountain, SoCal, NoCal, Oregon, Washington and Arizona markets). National audience follows the best of the sports...while the rest of the networks will show the games of more interest to those areas. 850 events every year..350 nationally, 500 local feeds. I am assuming that there will be 1 National Channel, but depending on your region, there will more focus on the local teams. For example, 16 hours of content shown nationally...with maybe 8 hours devoted to the regional teams for matches and games, etc. But maybe, it will be 7 different channels. Not exactly sure.

Cable partners will have it nationally...along with added content for the local networks. Every football and basketball game will be available on national television (ESPN, FOX and Pac-12 networks).

Regional networks will also promote school brands, research and other accomplishments? I am assuming stories about the schools.

I need some time to get my head wrapped around this but it looks great.

Sounds great, and at the same time a nightmare. The details of that deal just sound horrific. Plus, what is the PAC12s stake in the ownership, if any?

One thing that isn't clear to me is whether I will be able to get all 7 channels, or only the national + Mountain PAC-12.

It is a partnership with the cable operators. PAC-12 retains all rights.

Sounds to me like national + Mountain, and having to upgrade to a premium tier to get the national.

It appears the deal is with many different operators because each 2 team region will have a local channel, then there will be a national P12 channel.

I believe from earlier reports the P12 will own 100% of the network(s).
