Yeah that Locker guy blew chunks. Whatever happened to Locker winning the Heisman three years in a row and having it renamed after him?Originally posted by Babs View PostThat's true. I suppose Locker did turn out to be a bit of a disappointment."To the man who only has a hammer, everything he encounters begins to look like a nail."

Sark on ESPNU right now, appears to have totally left BYU behind him. When asked about changing from Pac 10 to Pac 12 "I've been born and raised in this conference..."
Washington should be a bowl team again this year, a good defense with 2 really good corners and a very good RB. Can Sark knock off Oregon or Stanford and cause some havoc in the North?Get confident, stupid

My early thought scare games for Oregon are @Stanford, Cal and @Washington. Obviously LSU, but that isn't a conf game.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostNot without a good quarterback.
Despite the final score last year Washington played Oregon well for about 2 and a half quarters. They bring back a lot on the OL and a power RB that is very good. If Price can step up and make plays Washington could win 7-8 games.
With the exception of 2009, Cal has given Oregon fits every year since Tedford has been there. It hasn't mattered if it has been in Eugene or Berkley. I suspect that could be a battle again. Though I am really not sure how good Cal will be, the game is early in the year and so they not have gone through the annual Tedford collapse.
Stanford has the best QB in the country and a great WR. The grass will be above the ankle so the Oregon speed advantage against their D will be neutralized.Get confident, stupid

This Pac-12 TV deal sounds really familiar. Currently only on Comcast and a few obscure stations not on Dish or Directv.
Only the channels in your region will be available to you. So ASU fans that live in Utah will not be able to watch the regional ASU channel unless eventually they add it for a price of course.
None of the channels will be on the basic tier at least for now.
This has MTN disaster written all over it.*Banned*

This looks like it will be must see television. Please keep me posted on the developments. One of the only comparable things to it on TV right now is the BYU McGlaughlin group that sit at a table and discuss a single verse of the BoM for an hour straight. Although that show is fantastic, I've been jonesing for more programming like it. This Pac 10 network sounds great. There is also the possibility of (gasp) academics being broadcast on the Pac-12 Network. Yes, colleges teach things in addition to having men put on pads and hit each other. The Pac-12 can flaunt its academic superiority, which is good for both potential recruits as well as the viewer who is actually interested in the academics. WSU can give love to its finest programs and faculty, and snatch a lot more viewers than KWSU currently reaches.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

You need to be more creative. What about a multiple-part series on something special-interest, like the history of women's fencing in the PAC?Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostThis looks like it will be must see television.
