No, didn't do the Sun Studios tour either. Just looked around and drove by it a lot. We lived there. When I visit as a tourist I'll do all the tours.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

If anyone is interested, SB Nation's Ole Miss season preview: Diary Queen and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Houston Nutt is the face of a lot of things, but if he wants to be the face of Ole Miss football in 2012, he’ll need to engineer a bounce-back season this fall with contributions from a lot of newcomers. Can he?

They allowed a ton of points last year. If BYU doesn't score at least 35 points I will be very disappointed

Stay in Tunica. Drink, gamble and golf. Maybe you'll get lucky like we did and see David Allen Coe playing blackjack.
There's no such thing as luck, only drunken invincibility. Make it happen.

Looks like you're going to have to endure a very long season with expectations like that.

I am posting this from a Super 8. It isn't too bad. They have the interwebs and a swimmin' pool. The hot tub is closed though and that pisses me off. The first night I was here I asked the manager when it would be fixed and he said "I'm talking to a guy about it tomorrow." Now, 3 days later I asked him the same question and he said "I'm talking to a guy about it tomorrow." I think he may be lying to me.

SWA is doing a special for their 40th anniversary. No flights into Memphis but they do go to Jackson which will leave you about 3 hour drive. $240 RT out of SLC if you can do Thursday to Monday.

Air Tran is participating in the same deal. They fly into a couple different locations than SWA like Memphis. Plus here's a coupon for $10 off your next Air Tran flight. You have to book before Thursday though I believe. I can get to Memphis from Richmond or Reagan for $160 now. This is so tempting.

Find low fares to top destinations and plan your travel today. Book Southwest flights, rental cars, and hotels on southwest.com.

Looks like Kori Gaines will make the trip to Ole Miss. He is back on BYU's roster.

                          I live in Oxford

and the motel options are limited, but there are several houses and condos with vacancies for football weekends. The Oxford square on a football friday is really something to see. The square has some great restaraunts and bars. I hope y'all enjoy Oxford. And I also hope that the humidity wears the Cougars down.

The square, the grove and stadium are all easy walks from several condos with openings

Thanks, OR. Oh how I wish I could make this trip but the Texas game will be the only out of state game for me this year. Southern bbq: good.

It's a shame too. I have family just to the northwest of you but my overtures (free transportation and tickets) for a combined caravan went unrequited. Oh my heck, I wasn't even suggesting staying at their place!? Frick! Instead my posse, dead set on seeing the Cougars beat Longhorns yet again, insisted upon a trip to the country of Texas. I've got my passport and my boots ready to go.

                                Maybe next time.
