Apparently, so is JL. He's taught his son correct priniples without even knowing or trying.

Then I hardly think he deserves the credit.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Probably quite a bit (although it is arguably true), but rightfully so! BYU fans should be insecure about their team this year. The point is that Ute fans shouldn't be, at least in comparison to BYU fans. Your team is better, so you shouldn't need to bother with these petty arguments. That you do just speaks to you guys not actually believing that your team is any good. Apparently you're starting to realize how crappy your wins have been.

I could be a homer and say that Utah is beating very good teams, or I could be reasonable and acknowledge that the schedule got easier. But you are right that I shouldn't waste my time with the petty arguments by BYU fans.

I still say what Chow has done is impressive considering who his QB is.

if Utah finishes the regular season at 9-4 they will have won the Pac12 champ game. that means they play in the rose bowl.

If Utah loses to Colorado they will play in the sun bowl.

If BYU fans can be giddy with happiness (as they were) about a 7-6 2010 season because of their team's trajectory at the end of that season, when they beat mostly the worst teams on their schedule, then certainly we can be very happy about an 8-4 inaugural regular season that ends with a 5-game winning streak in a new and overall tougher conference, in a year when our starting QB went down in the 4th game of the season. Seems pretty simple to me (assuming we actually beat CU, which can't be taken for granted at all).

I appreciate his well-wishes, deeply and with all my heart. My post was in response to others here who do not offer us well-wishes. And no, I am not entirely sure "well-wishes" is a word.

There are other scenarios (which i am sure you are aware of) but as usual the snarky in ddd has to make a dickish comment
