On the last drive of the 2nd half, what was the call on #32? the tv coverage never showed what happened. Kwhit looked like he was giving Fotu a talking to but he's 42. Angine know what happened. UTES need to get these stupid penalties under control. Cullen seems to have one of these in every game.
One of the most costly things he did was right at the beginning of the game when he let the rush end go without touching him when the back was on the opposite side of Wynn and Wynn got absolutely debacled from his blind side. I wonder if that is when the shoulder was first hurt. In any case he let his QB get absolutely drilled on the opening series. Not good. We have taken good Olines for granted over the years but this one is pretty decimated and not great this year.

Ted Miller has the Utes as 6th in the PAC-12. That is him being optimistic that Wynn isn't gone. If they were to finish 6th they would go to the holiday bowl. I would be freaking ecstatic for that although its not likely. I am thinking if they go bowling its the new mexico bowl.

          really?

I knew that the Holiday Bowl was behind the Rose Bowl and the Alamo Bowl

I had no idea that it was also behind the Sun Bowl, Vegas Bowl, and Fight Hunger Bowl.

Somthing tells me that Ted Miller is wrong in this.

The 6th place team from the Pac doesn't go to the Holiday Bowl.

The third place team does though. Oregon and Stanford go to bcs games. USC cant go to a bowl game. That puts Wash in Alamo and Arizona st in the sun bowl.

Utah would then get the holiday bowl.

I screwed up... Holiday bowl gets the third choice and the Sun Bowl gets the 4th. If Utah was the 6th best team in the conference then the Sun Bowl is where they were likely headed.

http://www.sunbowl.org/game-a-events/sun-bowl-game Either way its a New Year's Eve game.

I am still on this train. Whit's teams have always gotten better as the year has gone on. Every game left is winnable. Pitt lost by 20 to rutgers today. Utah won't have 5 turnovers in every game. This is the week the turnaround begins.

Btw they win 5 of their last 7and they play on new years eve in san fran. Win 4 of 7 they are probably playing in vegas.

We know mpfunk is out but who is in with me??

Count me in...as a long suffering Redskins fan, I've learned that you always believe in your team. I think there's a difference between pointing out frustrating parts of a loss and saying "well, our season is over." I wait too long for football to start every year to just give up 5 games in.

That said, with an early kick out east next week and back-to-back 5 turnover games, Whit & Co. are (hopefully) about to earn their paychecks.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I've always thought the next two games were probable losses. If we lose both of them, I don't know if this team has the mental fortitude to recover and get us to a bowl.

They really need to get a split.
