Then again that same depth chart (released by the school) has Luke Matthews as the starting fullback. A position that he has yet to play during spring or fall camp.
I think that Fullback is going to be a mix of players that are mostly used as an H back would. I predict we will see Vakapauna in the backfield with White when we are in the power I or splitback set. Murphy, Matthews will be used more on passing downs, IMO.

Please don't talk about Chow's pistol.

              Amen.

The season cannot get here quickly enough.

This preseason for Ute fans his fraught with uncertainty. To use a nerdy analogy: the Utes' equation for success this season has too many variables and not enough constants to make an attempt at an informed prediction. Rather, I get a feeling that we (most of us fans) are all SWAGging.

Conference realignment, depth/injury/inexperience at key positions, and coaching/system changes (Chow) all in the same season, have my head spinning in terms of establishing and trusting my own "gut feeling" for the success of this season, and rather than attempt to guess, I would prefer to get some results in order to do some empirical analysis.

As such, I am leaning harder on the opinions of others for discerning talent and putting predictions in perspective.

So please post frequently JiC and HL.

WTF is with his hair? I'm tired of it. It was funny for a practice or two. This is almost as weird as Riley Nelson's hair/midriff combo. At least Nelson is backup.

I'm looking forward to a time when Wynn has reasonable hair and no mexi-stache.

What? Are you promoting BYU dress and grooming standards for Utah athletes?

                            Appropriate for Men
                            • Slacks, jeans, sweaters, and sport or dress shirts with sleeves
                            • Clothing which cover the knee.
                            • Neat hairstyles, trimmed above the collar and leaving the ears uncovered
                            • If worn, neat mustaches which do not extend beyond or below the corners of the mouth
                            • Clean-shaven appearance, modest sideburns
                            • Footwear worn in all public places
                            • Men must wear shirts at all times

                            Inappropriate for Men
                            • Any sleeveless clothing and clothing that exposes the underarm and waistline
                            • Earrings or excessive jewelry
                            • Beards or noticeable (grubby) facial hair
                            • Body piercing and visible tattoos
                            • Patched, faded, frayed or torn clothing
                            • Bandanas
                            • Any athletic shorts or sweats

I think Wynn's 'stache would pass at BYU, unless someone decides it is grubby.

You want our QB's appearance to adhere to the honor code?!?!
