Flattop is "that guy". The one that wants a 100% homer station. He wants to tune in to the radio and hear nothing but praise and how his team will be undefeated.

Any sort of criticism and he gets pissed. He probably talks to himself in the car while listening to the radio. He face gets cherry red and he swears to never listen again. All because Kyle Gunther former ute said he thinks Utah has depth issues on the O-line and in the same sentence he talked about how that is one spot that is BYUs strength. How dare he bash the Utes!

          100% incorrect.

          Nice try, though.

Utah definitely has some question marks. There is a good chance they could lose all of their conference road games -- except at WSU.

Objectivity is not defined as nothing but sunshine, and I certainly don't want Dick Harmonesque reporting. I would simply like beat writers and other commentators who do their job without making crap up (example: Darrell Mack being unhappy with his role on the team in 2008).

The only year I thought Utah might go undefeated was 2004. Even in 2008 I didn't expect it. Interestingly, there are some commonalities between Brian Johnson going into 2008 and Jordan Wynn this year. Utah had no one behind Johnson, and they have no one behind Wynn. Both had shoulder issues the previous year and I said above that HL's analysis of what Wynn is probably dealing with after surgery in December is probably spot on. What probably wasn't spot on was all the speculation that there was a major problem because Wynn didn't throw one day in practice.

Yep, Utah is thin at the O-line, but we really didn't need Gunther to tell us that. But when Gunther said last year that Wynn was throwing off his back foot, I took that to the bank, which blows your little theory about me out of the water.

              Flattop doesn't know BYU's team like CJ know's Utah's.

This kinda stuff happens every year.

Both fan-bases are ready to get into football season and all we have to pin our expectations and hopes on are media camp reports.

Everybody is undefeated until the season starts.

Both teams have some tough games ahead and strong opponents to face... including a tough in state matchup early in the season this year.

I have been waiting for this for months... let's get it rolling already. I hope the Utes kick the Cougars in the teeth at their own house this year.

I know it's high school in the video but it's still cool. Go Bountiful!

Flattop's doesn't have the hatred for CJ's team that CJ has for Flattop's.

I haven't ready anything about how Jake Murphy is looking in camp. Last I heard, he was going to be the likely starter at FB. Anyone know how he's progressing?

My guess is flat top doesn't know as much about the utes team as CJ does, let alone, Gunther, Jan or Hot Lunch.

                          Perhaps in flattop's case.

Well, since Flattop was just sounding off about media bias, I'm not sure encyclopedic knowledge of the Ute players is essential. He does know enough not to make a personal attack on another CUFer, though, which is where this latest thread digression started.

How can one determine bias without knowledge on the subject?
