I will take them off your hands for you. I won't even charge you for it.

I think it is partially that, and partially finding a #2 and giving him reps.

I just take this as another positive reinforcement of how dominant our defensive line is since even a defensive lineman cannot stop the defense line.

If his shoulder was as "fine...fine...fine" as he said it was (in two sentences) yesterday, he'd be throwing. Unless there's something wrong, you certainly don't limit the throws of a kid who
            (1) had a weak second half last year (in both decisions and arm strength),
            (2) didn't practice in the spring,
            (3) has a new OC,
            (4) has a system,
            (5) has a mostly new set of WRs
            (6) has a new OL
            (7) has a new set of RBs.

A QB with all those strikes against him WOULD BE THROWING unless there was a physical reason for him not to be.

Anyone who buys the 'my shoulder is fine' line has his head in the sand. Maybe he's great in the film-room and will pick-up all the nuance of the new system without having to do it on the field. But even in that case, all the unknowns noted above dictate that he'll be better with more reps. He's obviously being held out from throwing for a reason, and it's not because his arm is fine.

Seven incompletions?! He's got a long way to go to catch up with Heaps.

Only if there is in fact no risk in pushing too hard too fast.

Yes. IF he has looked good in the reps he has had, and yes if there is some soreness. Rest now. It is the 5th day of camp. First game is still 3 weeks away.

Jordan Wynn reportedly made throws today in the scrimmage that a guy with a bum shoulder could not make.
