I love that retro logo (I love sailors, in general) but I have a pretty strict policy on my BYU gear...

1. No dates. I don't like stuff that has the founding date on it.
2. No Crowton era merch.....including the tan color, that horrible logo with the cougar popping out of the mountain, or that block Y logo
3. Only blue, white or gray. And gray is only acceptable for gym or exercise, not for actual game day or travel to and from game one day before or after. The bookstore sells stuff that is pink or green or yellow. Verboten in my book.
4. Only gear that says "BYU" or "Brigham Young." I don't like gear that says "Cougars"

ps that is the exact same cut as my tri-blend Beet Digger. Also, the adidas logo says "College Vault" so maybe you can search for that, too.

Agree.

I also don't like those shirts like the one surfah linked to with that weird conglomeration of letters on top of each other. It reminds me of that stupid "Y B U" chant that some opposing fans do.

What is adidas problem? Outside of that gray sailor cat shirt, they can't seem to make any decent college football apparel. Their BYU offerings are horrible.

This logo has survived, but with just the lettering and without the tan. I still don't like it.
