Even though Ryker looks like hes already been a senior missionary. Greg Oden is still the oldest looking 18 year old since Benjamin Button.

Up watching True Blue on God's Webcam and I've had some of the koolaid and it is good. I am ready to ride the wave of yet another football season.

On a side note, Blaine Fowler fills me with the Holy Spirit.

Jordan Johnson will be returning kicks this year. Interesting.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I caught the late-night rebroadcast of True Blue last night (in crystal-clear HD via Roku). It was the first time for me to see the broadcast times for the pre-game show, the post-game show, and the BYUTV re-showing of the Ole Miss game. I have a feeling I'm going to end up watching most BYU games twice on the same day.

Along with Hague. Very interesting. I liked Bronco's comments about Jordan. He made it sound like his moves would surprise and amaze.

Hague was pretty speedy for a FB last year. Down 50 lbs? He should be a beast! ... or as we say in eastern id- quicker'n shit!

Small feature on Kav. I'm really glad they asked him about his transfer from USC to BYU, because I've been anxious to hear his thoughts on that.

                  1. Why does the interviewer sounds like a 12 year old boy?
                  2. Why is the interviewer wearing a jacket? Isn't it almost 100 degrees in Provo?
                  3. Is burnt orange close enough to red to make him respond like a bull?

kariya is vastly more intelligent than kav and ogletree combined.

GMan has some updates on position battles.

predicted that the starting CBs would be either Eason/Hadley or Eason/Buckner...was surprised when Buckner wasn't named as even a 2-deep guy
I think it speaks more to the overall depth and strength of the CBs rather than subpar play from Buckner, who has been solid
So it looks like Johnson will back up Eason one year and then possibly be a three year starter.

Sorensen and then Mees at strong safety...will be interesting to see what happens with Galea'i
Mees takes the 2nd string spot.

Uale will start at FS, but Hague should see some time...coaches usually don't like to rotate their FS, but with Hill gone that could change
I'm a little bummed Hague didn't beat out Uale, but I still think it will happen at some point.

                          P. Hadley at BCB with Sampson backing him up...expect to see some rotation
ILBs will be Kaveinga/Jorgensen at mike and Tree/Hadley at Buck...Hadley has a lot of upside and should push for PT throughout the year
Hadley sounds like he's going to be a good one.

OLBs could be the strongest position on the defense with Pendleton and KVN...Frazier and Wagner should both see some time as well
It appears KVN has unseated Frazier.

He's got some updates on other positions but I think those have been settled for a while.

Dude, those are Gmans predictions, not the official two deep. Don't be sad yet.

That's what I thought I read at the beginning, but then he said this:
