I may be alone in this but.... I don't think we're going to miss Matt's game much. He was a liability in run D and the other guys - Rowley, Fangupo, Manu, Richardson - are all better for our defense than Putnam. And I worry that if he were there he'd take reps from guys who can do more damage.

Where we WILL miss him is if - knock on wood - any of those guys go down.

But given a choice I'd rather have Bryson back than Putnam.

Napper's string pulling is to blame for my angst.

I don't think he'd get that many valuable minutes anyway but when dealing with 300 lbers you can never have too many bodies to rotate in.

I think we have enough depth on the DLine this year. Maybe silver-lining is he redshirts (does he have one available?) and gives us more depth for next year when Fandango graduates.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Bryson already redshirted, as did Putnam. I hope Bryson makes it back for the development, but barring injuries I doubt either would play this season.

I also think that if Bryson does not return it will incentivize Devin Mahina to make the switch and put on 30 lbs of weight! Next year's DL: Starters of Manu, Fuga and Ian Dulan. 2nd String of Muehlman, Richardson and Mahina.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I'm disappointed that Tuiloma seems lost in all this.

I am assuming that both Tuiloma and Rowley will be onward...ever onward!

You think Rowley will fall out of the 2 deep??

Rowley > Richardson/Muehlman/Mahina(potential) in my book.

And Tuiloma will be in the rotation at NT this year look for him against Ole Miss.

IPF practice has concluded; Bronco says fewest camp injuries of his tenure. No two-deep players questionable for Ole Miss.

Can someone not on wood or something.

Apparently Jan was saying on the radio today that Fandango has gained weight and doesn't look as good as he did during the spring. Someone get this kid a lean cuisine stat!

I think both Rowley and Tuiloma will be on missions next year. Rowley and Tuiloma started elementary school in Hawaii which lets kids start if the turn 5 in the same calendar year they start school. Both have birthday's in the fall and as such neither is yet 19. I think both will be on missions in January and as such unnavailable for 2012.

That is unfortunate, but on the other hand the other SC committ lost about 20 lbs since spring ball.
