Well, that sucks. According to his brother, Drew had aced his required classes and was planning on reporting the first day of school (earliest he was allowed).

I wonder if this will turn into another Kessman thing... Drew's brother claiming Drew is 100% academically eligible and lived the honor code. So he ruled out both those as reasons for his dismissal.

I just can't buy that BYU would kick drew off the team just for being Non LDS (if he really was obeying the honor code). No way, no how.

I do, however believe that some HC violations still do get covered up.

So his response was supposed to say "who been saying that im NOT coming back this week?"

The way it was worded it sounded like he was never intending on coming back. That's what had me confused.

No it was intended to say: "Who been saying that I will be there this week". Then when he found out his bro broke the news he responded with:
