Looks like the WAC isn't going to have enough bowl teams so MAC will fill out THE NEW MEXICO BOWL, so you should be pulling for 'Querque.

But who will go instead of Stanford? 3-loss Nebraska? 3-loss Oklahoma (assuming they lose today)? Florida State?

The Big Ten and SEC are already sending the maximum number of teams they can send.

Now that LSU lost Stanford will be 4th in the BCS and will be going to a BCS game. Orange will choose between them and Uconn/Big East winner. The other team will go to the Fiesta.

Except unless you are predicting an ASU upset of Arizona or a Beaver upset of Oregon, the P10 will only have 4 teams going bowling with a Washington win.

I think my biggest disappointment from the loss today is not going to the Vegas Bowl. It has become my annual pre christmas ritual. I buy my last minute gifts on that trip. I have had a good time every year. Now I don't get to go.

I still think two teams get an invite from the SEC. I could see the Sugar picking up Arkansas. Two teams from the Big Ten will get the invite. Most likely Wisconsin and Ohio State. Stanford will get the third at large bid. How many does that leave? And who the hell will get to meet the Big East Champion?

ND has played a couple of good teams at their worst lately. Mustain and USC are horrible right now.

In an earlier post I said I was bored with Ohio State. I'm also bored with Oklahoma. If the two end up in a BCS game, I hope they play each other. That'll be one less game I have to watch.

Last night on ESPN they said the Rose Bowl is obligated to take the top Non-AQ team if Oregon goes to the BCS Championship game. TCU vs. Wisconsin would be a good matchup.

Boise against a Big 12 team would be a good match-up. They would probably get either Missouri, A&M, or Oklahoma.

All the projections have us in THE BELL HELICOPTER'S ARMED FORCES BOWL.

I really, really want this to happen. Regardless of today's outcome, this is the best situation for the team. We need all the time we can get to make sure we use up all of the allotted practices for the game.

CBS is projecting BYU vs. Fresno in the NM bowl on December 18th. They have Utah playing Toledo in the Vegas Bowl.
