It looks like regardless of what happens on Saturday, BYU is most likely headed to the Armed Forces Bowl and Utah is headed to the Las Vegas Bowl

Now that the Cougars are bowl eligible with six wins, folks are naturally wondering about their postseason destination.
Right now, it appears to me that BYU will be invited to play in the Armed Forces Bowl in Dallas on Dec. 30.
Everything depends on whether TCU is invited to play in a BCS game. If the Frogs go to the BCS, the Las Vegas Bowl will most likely invite Utah. Even if the Cougars beat the Utes on Saturday, there would still be a two-win difference between the teams (Utah would be 9-3 and BYU would be 7-5) and some people in Las Vegas are telling me Utah would still be the pick.
If Utah wins to go 10-2, it would be a top 20 team again and that would be a no-brainer for the Las Vegas Bowl.
San Diego State is almost certainly headed to the Poinsettia Bowl if it beats UNLV on Saturday, and probably if it does not. The opponent is Navy, and organizers won't want to stage an Air Force-Navy rematch.
The next pick of MWC teams would then belong to the Independence Bowl, and all signals out of Shreveport seems to indicate the Dec. 27 bowl will take Air Force.
That would leave the Armed Forces Bowl to take the Cougars. That game is usually played at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth. But because of a massive renovation project, the bowl has been moved to SMU's Stadium (Gerald J. Ford Stadium) in Dallas this year.
