I'll tell you what, BSU is bush league until they no longer have a track around their football field. I understand they have a contract to move the track to a local venue and replace the track with seating while lowering the field to improve seating capacity and sight lines but until they do those things, they are bush league.

Their luxury boxes are nice though.

the only reason i want bsu to lose is so utah has a better shot at a bcs game. other than that, i think peterson is classy, their players work hard and are fun to watch play. i think the blue turf is gimmicky, but it's a surface that the game can be played on so who really cares.

Husky stadium has a track around the field. It is one of my favorite college venues when the Huskies are good and are not playing the Cougars. How many other colleges have yacht parking?

Still bush league to have a track around a major college stadium. No wonder the Pac-10 is always looked down on by the real football conferences. The yatch parking is nice.

While I agree that having a blue field is lame, I played several games on that field in high school and can't say that the color was all that distracting. Then again, I wasn't playing against teams in uniforms that perfectly matched the field, so perhaps I don't understand the extent of it.

The main issue back then was that the field was extremely low-quality, such that it turned into a skating rink with the smallest amount of moisture, and turned any piece of skin that touched it into hamburger. It was constructed entirely of what seemed to be the sharp side of velcro. I understand that they've redone the field at least a couple times since then, which probably gives us some idea of how far that program has come. 13 years ago their stadium was inferior to Idaho State's MiniDome, one of the worst football stadiums in D1. I definitely respect what they've done, and I have hope that some day they'll join major collegiate football by getting rid of the blue turf.

I'm one who generally roots for BSU to win, while assuming that any minute now they'll start playing football more commensurate with their station. It is truly a testament of the great coaching and administration that they are able to recruit athletes to a small-time school in Boise, Idaho and win so many games.

              "Yatch parking"?

What do you park in a yatch?

They then proceed to tell us that we should all be kissing their blue and orange asses.
                    BSU's record vs MWC foes:

                    BSU 35 Wyoming 13 (2002)
                    BSU 33 Wyoming 17 (2003)

BSU 36 Utah 3 (2006) (Hmm.. Utah didn't play them at Boise)..
                    BSU 24 Wyoming 14 (2007)
BSU 16 TCU 17 (2008) (You have less of an argument to say "owned here then I)
                    BSU 17 TCU 10 (2009)
                    BSU 51 Wyoming 6 (2010)

BSU has a record of 10-1 vs MWC opponents.. However, many of the MWC teams are too scared to play them.. And this is only from 2002...

As said before. BSU plays whoever they can and wins.. Period. Get over your hated for them...

Boise is a good team. I never denied that. In one of your previous posts you claimed utter domination. See game results above...you did win, but let's be honest here, those games could have gone either way. That's over 50% of the games. You really believe that Boise will continue to be as successful as they've been in the WAC in the MWC (serious question)? I HIGHLY doubt that.

It's not that I hate Boise. I love Chris Peterson and I think BSU has some awesome talent (and will continue to for a while). However, I take issue with a lot of Boise fans who rub their success in my face and always remind me how much better they are than the other top non-AQ teams (particularly Utah). I realize that a lot of Utah and BYU fans do this- I really do. But that doesn't justify that kind of arrogance. Not to me, anyways.

Yes. I do think they will be at the top year end and year out.. Between them and TCU (After Utah and BYU leave)...

I'm a bulldog for BSU (I have a bias for them).. As a BYU fan I get disgusted by the snobbery of BYU fans towards BSU. Same goes for Utah fans...

Their prick fans are no different then the Michigan, Penn St., USC, cal, Florida, Bama fans I have come across.

Ok. I'm done... This dog has barked long enough...

The reason Oregon State is doing this is because Boise State has a "scheduling conflict" and is not allowing Oregon State to do a walk through at the stadium prior to the game.

It's absolute bullshit to have a field like that. It's even worse to have that field and then put up bullshit reasons to keep opponents from doing walk throughs to get accustomed to that shit.

Seriously. What program keeps opponents from doing a walk through at their stadium before the game?
maybe it is ESPN and High School football games that are stopping Oregon St. from having a walk through on the smurf turf.

The GameDay stars will tape a bunch of segments Friday on a smaller set inside Bronco Stadium. Those will air on various shows. They also use the smaller set for appearances on scoreboard shows during the day Saturday and for halftime and postgame reports.

The GameDay stage will be built overnight after high school football Friday night. That is believed to be a first for the show. “The crew will basically be there all night,” Fountain said. “It’s a daunting challenge for our tech and stage crew.” ESPN wanted to be on the field — a rarity for the show. “This is a unique opportunity with the blue turf and the country has heard so much about this blue turf — we’re going to show it off to the country,” Fountain said. “It’s always been our intent whenever we did get there, we’d love to do it on the blue turf.”

Like I said earlier, BSU has always allowed opponents to walk through on the smurf turf before games. I think this was an exception and now we know why.

I just don't get the Boise St. hate from the majority of the Utah and BYU fan base. It has to do with them being jealous of their program. Boise St. is viewed nationally as the top Non-AQ team out there. They are a great program, I find the hate from our fan base pretty funny.

Surfah, I am not saying you are hating on them BTW. I am point this out to the many that have posted in this thread bagging on the Broncos.
