    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

        . . . . because he hates Boise.

He shouldn't run from his feelings. Rather, he should embrace them.

This is a theme used by so many romantic comedies; the two protagonists reveal extreme dislike for one another (most recently I saw that movie Letter to/from Julliet--same theme). One protagonist might even view himself/herself as socially and intellectually superior to the other. Tension builds through a series of encounters until, boom, some tension-filled event throws them into each others' arms and they end up kissing passionately while Taylor Swift sings in the background.

I see this in SU's future.

He doesn't hate boise. He just stated that he would rather have Utah play in the NC. Didn't you read that post?

Nice showing for the Boise faithful.

I've never heard anyone suggest Michigan State has an unfair advantage because their uniforms are the same color as their grass. I avoid watching the first few minutes of Boise's home games because I'm sick hearing the announcers say, "Don't adjust your tv sets, folks. The turf really is blue."
In high school, I absolutely hated playing there. There is something about the smurf turf that plays with the mind. In fact, the first time that I played there I threw up just before the 3rd quarter but played better in the second half. I wish the NCAA would outlaw the blue turf like they did they did with BYU's "bib" uniforms. Ore State was smart painting their practice field blue to get their players prep'ed for this game, IMHO.

They have a 56 home game win streak, in the regular season. Does the smurf turf have something to do with that? Most likely. The fact the stadium is on the small side, packed and loud as hell has a lot more to do with it, IMHO. The biggest victories in BSU history has all taken place on a green turf. The biggest X factor, in regards to success, is simply the coaching.

The blue turf is a gimmick and really brings ridicule on the BSU program. They've progressed beyond that kind of thing and ought to leave it behind, IMO.

Totally disagree. The blue turf is unique in college football; it provides a home-field advantage; and it's a part of Boise's tradition. There's no reason for them to remove it, and there's no justification for the NCAA to make them remove it.

You have shown very poor judgment in disagreeing with me. I'm quite disappointed. I'll just ask this: What if everyone did that? BYU has a DSORB field, Utah a red one, Oregon forest green, Wyoming spoiled mustard, and so forth. How long would it be before the NCAA outlawed it?

I would have gone with the urine of a dehydrated person, and perhaps adding that the endzones would be painted the color of the same person's activity #2, but yours is more succinct.

And I agree with your point. If this becomes a trend, the NCAA will certainly ban it. Anyone know if there's a policy about basketball courts? It seems nobody paints much between the 3-point lines.

James Rogers with a great punt return for a TD. 7-7.
