I love that he complained of the officials’ professionalism as part of the rant. Pretty sure that’s irony, but need DH to confirm.

It's close, but I'm going with hypocrisy over irony, at least when it comes to the professionalism rant. The potential for irony is in the accusations of the intent of the refs and the B12 to "steal" the game from BYU, when video evidence actually confirmed that the call was a correct interpretation and application of the rules. Thus in actuality, by calling the penalty, the refs did the opposite of stealing the game--they prevented it from being stolen.

Yes. I think we learned a lot about the UofU school president who was part of the “rival right” (or whatever it was) joint campaign leading up to the game and then went witness-protection-level silent mode after his AD did what he did on the field and at the press conference (and his HC threw a chair).

I hope President Reese learned a lesson on teaming with that guy on any sort of messaging.

Both head coaches were asked about the opposing team's QB in their Monday pressers. Kalani was very complimentary of Dampier, listed all his strengths and talked about the challenge of putting together a game plan to contain him. KW barely let the question finish before he said he was only going to focus on his team this week and ended with something along the lines of "you'll have to ask then (BYU) what they think about Bear".

I love KW so much. His childish disdain for BYU in all things is so delicious.

Whitt is living rent-free in every Cougar fan's head. The number of BYU fans I have met who absolutely hate Whitt was surprising to me.
