Yes. And had BYU not lost to Kansas, BYU would probably be in. But it sure is a difficult result to explain in the abstract.Originally posted by USUC View Post
SMU's second loss came in the ACC championship game. That was the difference.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Yes they were one spot ahead of us the week after we lost to Kansas. It feels almost dirty to say this, but I have confidence the committee would have fixed that error at the end if it came to that.Originally posted by Bo Diddley View Post
Well, except that when they each had one loss, SMU was still ahead of them.

How do you not?? You can't let two 1-loss teams in and not take the one that gave the other the loss.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View Post

I saw this on another website. It’s a recap of some of the “so close, but so far” BYU football experience over the last few decades and culminates with a recap of the end of this season. I have no idea who this guy is, but he does a decent job.

Kind of like the uofutah fan on twitter who was soothing his sadness with highlights of past uofutah glories and started with plays from the first Rose Bowl game.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostHa. What kind of sicko would want to watch something like that?
Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Deion Sanders is clearly divisive, but I like him. I think he's great for CFB, CU, and the conference.
He definitely knows how to fight the publicity/image battles, but at his core, I think he cares about the players and is a good dude.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

I haven't really followed Deion's career as a CFB coach.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostDeion Sanders is clearly divisive, but I like him. I think he's great for CFB, CU, and the conference.

Sincere question: what makes him divisive? In other words, why do people not like him aside from the fact that he coaches an opposing team?

He’s flashy. He used the transfer portal (in and out), and in my opinion, some probably don’t like him because of latent prejudice. Although no one will ever admit it.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View Post
