Akana from Texas commits. Didn't play much, but had offers from everyone out of HS. Keanu tanuvasa is in the portal which is awesome. Would be more awesome if BYU is somehow able to land him

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Flipping Clegg and landing Akana from the portal is yuge. Agreed that landing Tanuvasa would be even yuger. DL is obviously the biggest question mark going into next year and I am pleased with our initial efforts in addressing that.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostAkana from Texas commits. Ute fan meltdown over Tanuvasa today is fun. The response has been vicious. Which is funny because a lot of these guys go in the portal and then come back (Isaac Wilson for example). Really stupid to trash a player like that."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

My tickets are in the fifth row in the end zone…Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostGot our tickets--not great but 28th row in Section 128 (corner on BYU side, and just a couple of sections over from the band where PH's daughter will be playing--don't hate!).
at least I’ll be on tv for the field goal and extra point tries."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

That's about where we were when we attended the 2006 Vegas Bowl. We were right on the aisle, and shortly after the game started, we moved to the front of the aisle because everyone was standing the whole game. I high fived Manase Tonga after he caught a TD.Originally posted by Moliere View Post
