Impossible. I'm very familiar with the guy who first brought it up on this forum, and he doesn't have misconceptions.

Boise State's new starting quarterback looks like a similar style to Utah State's Cooper Legas, except bigger and faster. Great.

If his passing decisions suck like those of Legas, then I'm good. Bring it on.

Last I checked (early 4th quarter) he was 4/9 passing for 32 yards and an interception.

7 rushes for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns.

He had 2 INT's and a couple of dropped INT's. He rushed for 50 yards on 20 attempts with 1 rushing touchdown. The way the announcers were talking him up, though, it gave the impression he was a lot better than he really was.

Are you talking about Cooper? Green for BSU is bigger, stronger, and faster. He didn't pass it particularly well against SDSU, but he didn't have to.

Okay, but, how good is he at playing defense?
                  Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Pretty good. Made a solid tackle on his interception.

I will be happy to see him make that a very common play against our Cougars.

                        Time to adjust expectations.

Our offense is very good, but without a running game, it’s not great.

                        Our defense is, well, poor.

This is a seven-win, maaaaaaybe an eight-win team. That will feel like enough wins to justify keeping the staff together.

Then, on to the big 12, where we are in for a great many losses until we hopefully step it up.

You can like this or not, but at least don’t be surprised by it.

Yeah, time to sell your BYU football stock.

If BYU can win out, it'll still be an ok season. But losses at Liberty or Boise will ensure there is no way to polish this turd. Next year will be rough.

Jaren Hall getting injured is a huge factor.

Probably cost us the Notre Dame game. It clearly did not cost us this game though. I don’t think it will be the deciding factor in any other game.

BTW, Notre Dame is currently trailing future opponent Stanford by 13-0 in the third quarter.
