That makes me feel better. I have tried to find some of these rumors on twitter but the only thing I can really find is speculation that Jay Hill will become the DC. Haven't seen rumors of the other staff being let go. Although an RB commit all of a sudden got a crystal ball move to going to Wazzu. So that suggest Unga might be gone.

This reminds me of when LaVell took the mic at a December basketball game following the 1999 football regular season to hype the Motor City Bowl. His opening line was something like "you know, I can't think of a better place to spend the Holidays than Detroit..." followed by knowing laughter from the crowd.

Depends on what position. If he’s the DC, a letdown. Anything less than that (LB coach?), probably very good news.

I like K-pop. He’s on the short list of future coordinator/HC @byu. Not sure he’s ready for DC, but I think he’ll be an upgrade over Clune if this is a positional role.

I tend to agree but folks seem pretty convinced he is coming to BYU. The only reason I can imagine he would do it is for the money. If that is the reason, that is a pretty good development for BYU.
