Hall looked good Saturday, that had to move him up the draft day charts.

There wasn't another BYU fan present to confirm this when it happened--the BYU fans I arrived with had long since eaten and then run off to their special place to seek comfort in the face of an ugly game--but the three or four Duck fans nearest me in the Oregon box from which I suffered through that beatdown were all VERY impressed with some of Jaren's throws in the 2nd half. After one dime from the far hash, two of these guys turned around to look at with raised eyebrows as if to say "glad we got out to a lead early in this one, because this kid can sling". One of them even said "we might be title contenders with that kid at QB."Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostHall looked good Saturday, that had to move him up the draft day charts.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Hey I got into a verbal altercation with a drunk UO frat boy. Do you think I was going to risk my life and walk that concourse a 2nd time?Originally posted by Donuthole View Post

As for the compliment. I believe at last 2/4 adult male Duck fans in the suite played D1 college football. So they know what they're talking about.

Based on precedent, only one of the first four names mentioned will play on Saturday, and either Puka or Malik is dead.Originally posted by USUC View Postτὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

Yip. He's played very well.Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostHall looked good Saturday, that had to move him up the draft day charts.
The one area where he doesn't seem as good as last season to me - his foot speed. Maybe they've just been playing against faster teams, but he hasn't seemed as fast to me as he did last season."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

I agree with this., but I think it's been like that ever since the ASU injury. He is slower this year, for sure. Not sure if that is injury related or if he just hasn't opened the full throttle yet, but he is definitely not getting the corner like he did pre ASU.Originally posted by Pelado View Post

That could be right. But I'd rather have him pass than run, either way.Originally posted by Donuthole View Post

I'm seeing the lack of it when he's eluding defenders.Originally posted by Pelado View Post

although on that long TD run vs baylor (wasn't baylor post ASU?) he looked as fast as he's ever looked. maybe it's an acceleration issue or a quickness issue? i don't know but i do agree he hasn't looked as fast or explosive.Originally posted by Donuthole View Post

It reminds me of after Taysom Hill got hurt. But I feel like his speed eventually came back. That could be simply holding back while the body continues to fully heal. And sometimes it's simply a function of watching the run from a deceptive angle.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View Post
