Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Ted Miller's blog is always a great place to follow the PAC10. His post today is a pretty good look at the changing landscape, focusing on USC's change role. As Triplet said elsewhere, all programs have their peaks and valleys:
This is not your old USC
Of course, USC's peaks and even its valleys are consistently higher than those of most other programs.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

The latest from Wilner after he talked with Larry Scott: http://blogs.mercurynews.com/college...ague-meetings/
Some key things from it:
In response to what I’ve heard lately — that we should expect some form of a North-South split — I asked Scott if the Zipper Plan is dead: “It’s not dead. Nothing has been ruled out.”
I also asked if, regardless of the division alignment, he could give fans of the California schools any assurance that the quartet would continue to play each other every year.
“I cannot,” he said. “The only assurance I can give is that the traditional rivals will play each other every year under any format.”

Sounds like they are close on deciding the division split, with an annoucement coming next week. Likely a north/south split. The only question is will Cal/Stanford go North or Utah/Colorado."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

don't know if this has been posted yet. reports, to the extent there really are any, sound very unsettled.

Interesting, thanks. My selfish hope continues to be that the Utes play as often as possible in L.A. I hope the PAC12 hoops tourney stays at Staples, a few blocks from my office. It's all about me, you know.Originally posted by OrangeUte View PostSources: Pac-10 divisions could hinge on California, Stanford compromise - ESPN

The P10 tourney at Staples for time and all eternity is perhaps the worst example of LA Tom Hansen. It is never well attended, even when USC or UCLA is in the championship.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostInteresting, thanks. I really hope that they figure this out and rotate it between the NBA arenas in every pairings home. Seattle, Portland, Oakland, LA, Phoenix, Denver.Get confident, stupid

You have a lot to learn about the P10, Southern Oregon University is not actually in the Pac 10/12.Originally posted by OrangeUte View Posti thought we already went through this. it is better for everyone if the utes play LOTS in the bay area and southern oregon. methinks your memory is having difficulties.Get confident, stupid
