Considering that BYU and Utah have never really played for a conference championship, I think UD's bluster about the rivalry is a bit misplaced.

I'm actually touched by UD's concern for our future rivalry prospects. However, as he should know, his concern in misplaced. History has shown that BYU has never been left wanting for rivals. The line is a long one.

Someone's math isnt so good. They say it has been around for 36 years but they show it beginning in 1971 and I recall it from when I was but a tyke (meaning like 11 or 12). 1971 sounds about right.
