Perhaps I'm mistaken, but isn't the beehive boot for football and the wagon wheel for basketball?

I think the Wagon Wheel is BYU vs Utah St. in football

Edit: Yep, the wikipedia beehive boot entry explains: [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beehive_Boot"]Beehive Boot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:BYUlogo.png" class="image"><img alt="" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/fc/BYUlogo.png/100px-BYUlogo.png"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/f/fc/BYUlogo.png/100px-BYUlogo.png[/ame]

Got it. A nice bit of useless trivia for my brain to replace something useful.

I should have known that the Old Oquirrh Bucket was the basketball trophy.

          Ain't that the truth.

Although, SU might be less angry.

I'm actually touched by UD's concern for our future rivalry prospects. However, as he should know, his concern in misplaced. History has shown that BYU has never been left wanting for rivals. The line is a long one.

Indeed, one needs look no further than UD's activity in this very thread, dedicated to the expected ascendancy of Utah athletics. Yet UD can't avert his focus from BYU. His new avatar stands as a testament that Utah will ever view BYU as its primary rival.
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Actually, UD is a Ute fan. It's to be expected that a Ute fan would participate in the "PAC12 anticipation thread."

Someone's math isnt so good. They say it has been around for 36 years but they show it beginning in 1971 and I recall it from when I was but a tyke (meaning like 11 or 12). 1971 sounds about right.
                PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Tony Curtis. I consider it a great honor to step into his shoes in this small way.

Please, don't bring it up. I'm taking this day to day.

You are miscategorizing UtahDan. I don't think he is as simple as you make him out to be.
