Not cool, peeps. Not cool at all.

All of that tradition, all of those championships, all of those raucous crowds missed because I mistakenly believed this was just BYU, you know the team that has not been to a single BCS bowl from the Mountain West, or really done much of anything except be a sometimes foil to the real juice of the conference, Utah and TCU.

Maybe, Cougar Nation feared falling behind Boise State, too.

Or maybe a Touchdown Joseph really has been planned for LaVell Edwards Stadium.

What I know for sure is the only people who think BYU declaring its football independence is a good idea is BYU, but the Cougars are not the only ones who get dropped in the grease with their delusions of pigskin grandeur.

        Another interesting line:

The guy has to be sick of being in leagues with Notre Dame wanna-bes, always searching for bigger and better, like TCU is not a top-10 team.

I'm pretty sure absolutely NO ONE is claiming TCU is an inferior opponent. Talk about a persecution complex. Sheesh!
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I'm no Harmon fan, but show me a Harmon column that sounds as whiny and bitter as that one.

My understanding is that when they went to withdraw the $3,000,000,000.00 for the mall that about $50M got misplaced and some enterprising person decided it would be better to ask for forgiveness that permission. This is like you or I misplacing the change from lunch.

When I can access Youtube(filtered here), I will link you Harmon's interview on ESPN when Utah was invited to the PAC-10.

Kill off one of our ER docs and I won't have to do these.

Ok, I believe you on the Harmon thing. I do recall some bitterness out of there.

I really, really, really, really hope there is some sort of master plan going on here that we are missing key parts of or BYU just stepped in the outhouse and asked someone to push us over a cliff. What in the world.

Just as long as it isn't a final solution.

So maybe scheduling won't be so difficult as an indy.

BYU and Texas about to announce a home and home after next year's game.

I think this is huge news. Texas is a huge catch.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
