Those guys are literally fighting for their jobs and they will cut each others' throats. I don't see Fox and ESPN playing nice in this scenario and BYU is far too tightly hitched to to ESPN to try and play neutral at this point.

If ESPN isn't happy with the situation BYU will have to walk.

At its worst it's the nightmare scenario where there really cld be something outside of BYU's control.

Pittsburgh's no comment is eerily similar to BYU's no comment.

As far as I understand they get 18 games a year. Which they could find limiting when they've got to divvy those games up between 10 teams.

If BYU goes to the Big 12, I will personally raise every kitten within a 20 mile radius of my house... name them all Cosmo, and start a running of the kitties festival before every home game in Cougartown... which still doesn't seem half as wierd as the A&M crotch smashing tradition the Uncle Ted keeps posting.
