My guy in TX was wrong about Rick 1.9's Aggies but he NAILED the call to BYU last weekend w an invite (you have some AD to AD discussions that basically confirm the invite and confirm acceptance) and then the pressers.

For non NYT subscribers, are there any more substantive deets? If aTm bolts tomorrow, the B12 is on the clock and will need a savior to maintain the 10-team TV deal. Looks like initial projections of an announcement during the weekend of the Texas game might prove correct.

The "ESPN tepid" line is the most worrying, if true - and is certainly plausible. If BYU says no it will almost certainly be because ESPN isn't fully on board.

I actually think the refs got the call right. I was just pointing out how close Nebraska and Texas were in terms of Big 12 competativeness. When Texas fans talk of Big 12 South dominance, what they really mean is Oklahoma dominance.

While I think Nebraska made the right move, I will miss playing the Big 8 schools, especially Oklahoma.
