So, state legislatures in Washington and Oregon are trying to pass a law that WSU/UW and OSU/UO are required to be in the same league...

So, BYU B12 fans, which would you hypothetically prefer the B12 do? Take UO, OSU, UW, WSU or UA, ASU, CU, UU? If those were the only two hypothetical options, that is...

I think the AZ schools are an important anchor for stability. UO and UW are the best brands, but would always be looking at the B1G. If we can't get the AZs and UW and OU, then the UU and CO I guess.

That would be the dumbest move ever by those state legislatures. Highly skeptical that will actually happen.

I would take UO/OSU, UW/WSU. CU left the B12 so they shouldn't be welcomed back (unless Nebraska comes crawling back too but PBW says that's never happening so let them continue to rot in the B1G). UU can go back to the MWC since they add little value and would just compete with BYU for recruiting.

Both states are very similar socially and politically. The west side of the state is infinitely more liberal than, the much large land massed, less populated east side of OR and WA. Things like this would almost certainly be proposed by a state representative from Spokane or Pendleton. However, it will soundly be rejected by the westerners, who are more likely to be UW alumni or Duck fans.

You have to copy/paste the tweet id. The big number at the end of the link.

Or do like I do. Go to the tweet of day thread, hit quote. See how Ted embedded his latest tweet, then try to copy and paste just the number part with my fat fingers for 5 minutes. End up giving up at least 50% of the time.

                          No reason to add OSU/WSU.

If the Big 12 added OSU/UO/UW/WSU, it may not be long before the B10 decides they want UW/UO. And then the Big 12 is stuck with OSU/WSU without their revenue-generating neighbors.

'We're more galvanized than we've ever been,' a league source said. 'There's no interest by Big 12 members going to the Pac-12 or ACC'... (new commissioner) Brett Yormark has been aggressive, per sources."
