Have you seen the attendance numbers for the two conferences? You think some B12 schools want to go to Berkley, Palo Alto, Pullman, Corvallis, etc to play in empty stadiums late at night? And from a basketball standpoint, there is no comparison.

TCU? No way. And Kansas is horrible at football.

        • All kinds of people tweeting all kinds of stupid stuff about expansion right now. I mean really stupid stuff.

If it's not from an accredited journalist at a major media outfit, I don't believe a word of it.

            • Do not add Utah to the B12! Adding them would be horrible. Why would the B12 share the SLC market when it can let Utah either and die while BYU eats up market share.

Add Colorado (BYUs new rival) and the AZ schools and maybe Wyoming.

Yeah 50/50 is too pessimistic as I too think the Big 12 is in a stronger position. Maybe 60/40 in our favor. Oddly, the confederation of solid programs with large fan bases, but no slam dunk blue bloods that everyone wants will be our strength this round of realignment.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Strong enough teams to be a decent conference, but no blue bloods left to get pulled apart.

I think it is more like 80/20. The next few days/weeks will be interesting.

This made me laugh in an evil way. Do I need to talk to the Bishop?
