I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Here is my point: This thread, more than any other public thread, should be devoted to BYU and the BIG 12. If little Byron wants to whine until he wears out his whiner thts fine with me; and if he wants to tell us all about the evils of the LDS church good on him, and he has many threads on this board where he can do that. But, he should get that crap out of this thread. And, frankly, so should we.PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Houston, we a problem... The Big 12 better take this in consideration:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...b00a4d2e0bee4eHouston Voters Reject Measure Barring LGBT Discrimination
Houston voters struck down a non-discrimination ballot measure Tuesday, delivering a blow to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights movement that had campaigned heavily for passage.
Prop. 1, known as Houston’s Equal Rights Ordinance, would have barred discrimination on the basis of race, age, military status, disability and 11 other categories in a variety of areas. (Religious organizations and institutions would be exempt from the requirements.)

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. I am a sports fan, demonstrably. Sports writers are mostly stupid, failed jocks; there are also a disproportionate number of BYU alumni and LDS among them. This article is Exhibit A. Focusing on facts that are irrelevant except in his fantasy world.Originally posted by BlueK View PostKeep digging. Find me one national article that says BYU is out based on any of those factors. You missed the article yesterday about ESPN about to unleash a direct streaming option. this is where fanbase makes a huge difference and where sports coverage moves into the 21st century. The days of sports rights being subsidized by non-sports fans who have sports channels on their system they never watch are dying quickly. BYU is in much better shape here than even most P5 schools.
You're admittedly not even that much of a sports fan, yet you know more than a national sportswriter about things like this. Yeah, right. I've never fully understood the psyche of "fans" like you who clearly care a lot more about the rival school than the one they supposedly like. Anyway, the signs are out that you're about to get some bad news. When it comes out I hope it doesn't ruin your day too much. By the way, how are the utes looking this year? I haven't been paying much attention. Never mind, you're probably not the one to ask. ;-)When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.
