How about CU back to the Big 12 and BYU fills the vacancy with the PAC 12.

That doesn't even sound plausible. Probably talked to some old Nebraska fan who lamented losing the Oklahoma rivalry and extrapolated that to the school wanting back in. Can't even fathom who the other could be. Not Mizzou. Not A&M. Colorado makes no sense.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

Maybe the PAC12 and the Big10 have served Colorado and Nebraska their eviction notices... Colorado for being the Pac12 deadweight and Nebraska for losing its AAU accreditation (not to mention losing to BYU). The good news is that the MWC has left the light on.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostNebraska and Colorado will never go back to the Big 12, each for their own reasons. Wait, so he's saying going from 10 to 12 is a step towards getting to 14? I'm not sure if I follow that logic...Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostShocking how many reporters are saying incredibly dumb things. Same dufus with a follow-up tweet:

Sure. And maybe the Big 12 will kick Texas out because they have sucked so much lately. All this could happen so crazy amiright?!Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostMaybe the PAC12 and the Big10 have served Colorado and Nebraska their eviction notices... Sorry but I'm no longer buying any of the national media guys and their sources. Minutes before this announcement guys were claiming expansion was dead for several years. For the weeks leading up to it, expansion was dead. Now that it's not they all have sources that know the candidates? Eff that.

Probably one of the people that bought into the Houston to the Pac nonsense. Just absurd on its face.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostShocking how many reporters are saying incredibly dumb things. Same dufus with a follow-up tweet:
Definitely a major loss of credibility for a lot of people on this stuff. But it doesn't matter much anyway. Hot takes and clicks are increasingly all that matter in sports journalism anymore.

http://www.si.com/college-football/2...es-bob-bowlsbyOn a conference call Tuesday afternoon, the Big 12 conference announced that it has unanimously approved expansion exploration. To translate for those either unfamiliar or simply fatigued by the jargon of conference realignment, that basically means the league has kicked off an expansion frenzy.
A source familiar with the Big 12’s thinking told SI.com on Tuesday that it looks “nearly definite” that the league will expand by two schools and “highly possible” the league could expand by four school. This is major news, sparked in part by the revelation on Monday that the ACC will be launching its own network, leaving the Big 12 as the only Power 5 school without some type of television network. The Big 12 was getting left behind, and Tuesday’s decision is another definitive step to attempt to keep up.
The leaders in the clubhouse for Big 12 expansion remain BYU, Cincinnati and Connecticut. The next tier includes South Florida, Central Florida, Memphis, Colorado State, Houston, Boise State and Tulane. If the league does add four schools, there’s really no standout candidate for that fourth slot."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

Good point. SMU, Houston, Missouri, Nebraska, Seward's Folly, Alsace-Lorraine; who came and went from what is probably hard to keep track of when you've been around that long.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostMy guess is that Snyder, being an old guy, was thinking of SWC teams wanting to come back... SMU and Houston.

Yeah, these clowns don't have an ounce of credibility left.
