Wasn't this the basic economical premise John Nash (A Beautiful Mind) won the Nobel for? So there is some validity if it were only the 2 big dogs barking at one another. What doesn't make much sense is why the other 8 schools would agree to a clearly inferior product. The other schools would presumably be smart enough to know that diluting their conference only empowers UT and OU and/or makes them easier picking when a better suitor (SEC) comes calling in the future.Originally posted by BlueK View PostComment

Bowing to Texas demands has nearly destroyed this once great conference several times. Anyone not named Oklahoma and Texas does not have a guaranteed landing spot is the implosion actually arrives. They would be be wise to vote in a block to shift power away from Texas.Comment
