I think if Notre Dame were an option for the Big 12, adding BYU and ND would have been done by now. It took the Big 10 until 2010 to realize the Irish would not join them. It took until 2016 and a GoR extension with ND and the ACC for the Big 12 to realize that the Irish would not join them. One thing I have taken away from this round of expansion anxiety is that many of the 'insiders' need to have some remedial instruction on use of language. The first class will point out that saying the "contracts are signed on the dotted line" when what you mean is that "they are not yet signed but are close" is a really dumb thing to do.PLesa excuse the tpyos.Comment
