Meh. OU can leave whenever they want. They wouldn't be messing around if they didn't want to salvage something. The want to ditch the LHN and get a conference network. And they want more teams for stability. I know they CAN leave but my point is they havent left until now. The vote was what UT wanted so if Boren is going to act as a result of two of his three criteria being left unfulfilled, he will act by leaving (whcih they can do at any time, as you say). How long does it take for the great whiny masses of BYU fans to just be content with independence? BYU is a tweener. G5 < BYU < P5. At least BYU is in a better position than the G5s. At least BYU isn't falling as far behind as the G5s. I would be even more bummed if I was a cinci fan. BYU just has to continue working with what they have. Eventually the college football media bubble will burst. There is no way that the big programs will tolerate subsidizing the dead weight teams at that point. BYU will be be in a good position.Comment
