Very. +1Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

What gave you that idea?Originally posted by Lost Student View PostMost of the 12 are Ute fans, so I've been told. It's their fault, and I believe it was intentional sabotage of BYU.

Dude sez: Not So Fast, My Houston Friends.....
The playoff committee is bending over backwards to justify defeats. Early kick offs, rain, etc.Nobody in the nation, except Alabama, has a win over a team like TCU as Oklahoma State has on its resumeThe committee had best apply the same criteria to ND as they did the Big 12 champ last year tooI understand the situation with the Big 12 much better today. Not so fast on HoustonThis may be too complicated for twitter. A post maybe in order to explain things properlyI'm not going to wait for a post so I'll just tweet what I know... (lazy)I spoke to a contact in the Texas gov's office late last nightHe said a faction within the Big 12 wants Houston to counter TAMU's domination of Houston recruiting. That faction is Baylor's Ken StarrTexas and Texas Tech are dead set against UH. I'm not sure of TCU's positionThe president of the U of Texas doesn't want to get involved in sports and the interim AD is far too busy cleaning up Patterson's messSo Boren of OU has assumed power and is basically running the confBoren is pro expansion. So is WVU and Baylor but that's it especially with UH in the mixNobody in the Big 12 is excited about the candidates. Expansion is a desperate last resort. The Big 12 would rather play a CCG with 10.The gov. of Texas WILL not pressure UT or the Big 12 to add HoustonThe contact in the gov's office says Lt. gov. Dan Patrick lacks the political clout to pressure UT or the Big 12 to add UHAbbott will not get involvedI am 100% confident this is accurate due to the sourceI'm told Patrick has expressed his desire to see UH in the Big 12 to the UT prez. That's where this uh stuff came fromBut right now UT is not a leader. They are not even trying. Boren has seized the opportunityEven OU isn't too keen on the expansion candidates availableEven if the Big 12 misses the playoffs again they will not expandIf anything the pressure from the UH supporters has angered UT and TTThe source who introduced me to the contact in Abbott's office said that under no circumstances will UT support UH's membership in the B12.Both are UT graduatesFitter. Happier. More Productive.

Not even a mention of the Texas legislature. That guy doesn't know a damn thing.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

That makes perfect sense. There is a desperate need to counter TAMU's domination. Let's fix that by having another team in our conference that gets all the Houston recruits. He said a faction within the Big 12 wants Houston to counter TAMU's domination of Houston recruiting. That faction is Baylor's Ken Starr
Also funny: the thought of UH competing with aTm."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

The only thing it really means in this context is that WVU is whining about being too far away from all the other teams and wants one or two teams in the league that are closer geographically.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postcan someone explain the whole "travel partner" thing? I do agree with Flugaur on the Boren stuff. Boren's comments were in direct contradiction with everything the B12 had been saying as a conference and were a scathing assessment of the current health of the conference as well as the albatross that is the LHN. As the president of the university, you don't say those things without an endgame in mind.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

So basically every other year WVU gets to take one road trip that is maybe an hour closer by plane? That's what this is all about? One game every other year?Originally posted by BlueK View PostThe only thing it really means in this context is that WVU is whining about being too far away from all the other teams and wants one or two teams in the league that are closer geographically.Fitter. Something like that. Keep in mind that WVU is the lowest ranking school in the P5 when it comes to academics.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostSo basically every other year WVU gets to take one road trip that is maybe an hour closer by plane? The idea is organize consecutive road games at near by schools so the traveling team only has to take one trip. For example BYU basketball having a game in Norman on Thursday and Stillwater on Saturday.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postcan someone explain the whole "travel partner" thing?
