Flugaur had a series of tweets recently explaining why BYU is out. He alleges that the schools have decided that they don't want to expand west.

Fluguar knows some guy that is a B1G person of importance. Fluguar used to just tweet what this B1G guy presumed the Big 12 to be doing, but now he's in MVHer mode and he can esad.

Yeah well maybe this tells you that. FTR, this guy and the dude of WV haaaaaaaate each other. This guy gets his Big 12 info from a guy he calls "BTM" or "BigTenMan." It's very complicated.

On another interesting Big12 twitter insider note, a guy named Promiscuous Jawa who claims a tie to Texas and/or the Big12 recently announced he would be visiting Provo for the ECU game. Throughout the day he posted beautiful pictures of the Utah Valley and one of LES pre-paint job. It almost seemed as if he didn't really take the pictures. He's also posted that BYU is OUT of the running for two slots in the PAC12. Those are going to New Mexico, Baylor, TCU and maybe Boise for just football.

Is there a fanbase out there that is as easily trolled as BYU? Probably the University of Utah but they don't have nearly the same numbers as BYU. I think these guys figure out pretty quickly that any BYU news gets them all sorts of reactions from BYU fans and gives them a ton of traffic.

Yeah, I read the earlier tweets but opted to focus on the one. And yes, I hold all such tweeters in the same regard as I do Friend of Scouting.

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick is a radio talk show host out of Houston. While he seems the type who would love to claim credit for getting UH into the Big 12, he also seems like a guy with larger political aspirations.
