Exactly, so it can be reunited with WestVa.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

    • I get the impression that Dan Beebe was somewhat friendly towards BYU. That changed when Neinas took over as B12 commissioner. When Neinas stepped in, everything with regards to BYU to the B12 came to a grinding halt. Maybe Bowlsby is more BYU friendly.

      • BYU to address abysmal game day atmosphere, starting with modifications to the tailgating policies.

My guess is that this is in anticipation of Texas school officials coming to Provo next year for the t.u. game.

Tailgating sans beer is a whole lot of "meh". I particularly liked Bronco's idea of a tailgate/potluck. Comedy gold.
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

how about suggesting that tailgating should begin 2 hours before kickoff.

That we have been instructed to do this is [insert adjective].

Yes, BYU fans need to step up their tailgating to show they could be a Big 12 team. If Big 12 teams and their fans see the sorry excuse that people call tailgating in Utah there is no way BYU will be offered a place at the Big 12 table. I am glad they got folks thinking about this problem. Y'all need smokers (that "Blue Pig" comes to mind) and big screen TVs going as soon as the sun gets up. Also, BYU fans should think about getting a TCU (Tailgating Command Unit)...

This is the real reason TCU was picked over BYU if you ask me.

Depending on your definition of potluck, plenty of tailgates around the country are potlucks. I don't see why this is a preposterous suggestion.

Because the thought of blending a relief society potluck and tailgating is hilarious...

The biggest obstacle to tailgating is the requirement to clean the chapel on Saturday morning. Eliminate that assignment and people will be free to party!

EDIT: Holy crap! The person that proofread that article sucks

At BYU however, tailgating is not as popular as it is in the ACC, SEC or thew Big 12.
"There are some things with administration and the way we do parking that change (tailgating)," Holmoe said. "There are possibilities that we haven't even dreamt of that we could do, maybe, but that would take a change in somethings."
I like that he says there are possibilities that we haven't even dreamt of. How does he know that?

"Weather we will be able to roll out some new stuff this year or not I'm not sure, but we are researching and trying to work with the alumni and students."

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

LOL. It is written by the Daily Herald Assistant Sport Editor. What do you expect?

                              • Bad Luck: No B12 expansion

Beyond the Irish, however, Luck doesn’t see the league expanding in the immediate future.

“I think right now the Big 12 is really comfortable with 10,” Luck said. “I think everyone wants to get through a season or two and make sure that both we and TCU really get accustomed, organized and really feel a part of this thing.

“It wasn’t that long ago that the Big 12 went through its own issues of potential defections, so I think there’s a sense of keeping it at 10 for a while and make sure we’re all on the same boat and can all get along,” he continued. “I don’t think right now there’s a big appetite for expansion, although if Notre Dame truly were interested, that may change the calculation.”
One, it is interesting to see how public the B12 courtship of Notre Dame has grown.

Two, why is Oliver Luck the most talkative AD on the topic of B12 expansion? Has WV even officially joined the conference yet?
