Of course, any comments from any school or conference officials about anything concerning potential realignment stir everyone up. I should add that I tried to reach new Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby for his opinions but he was not available. I know everyone thinks Dodds is the de facto commissioner — and even Bowlsby referred to Texas as the “800-pound gorilla” a week ago — but I read it as Dodds has the confidence and bravado to speak on any issues that might affect his school or conference, and he has that right.Fitter.
