That board is now full of the, "it isn't the LDS leadership's fault" crowd.
First off, why so defensive. If the church leadership values visibility of the program over quality of the program, that is a decision they have the right to make. If it is true, why try to hide it from the fans.
I don't doubt for a minute there are those who are decision makers who have no problem throwing local fans under the bus for the benefit of world wide coverage.
It isn't evil vs good. It is just a decision on priorities.
