Seriously, if anything the recent few years have illustrated that the handwringing by some BYU fans over our public perception is way overblown. What does that have to do with the Pac. And the Pac is stable.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

And "stable" is the last word I would use to describe the Pac right now. Haha."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

You seem confused today. This is the thread where we have talked about potentially moving to the Big 12 over the years. You know, the one where you mocked us over and over again and insisted it would NEVER happen. And then it happened.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostAnother one. Maybe this is it. This thread is a cluster fuck. You're all wallowing together in the slime of your inexhaustible gism."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? If we were dealing with reasonable economic actors, I'd totally agree. This is not aimed at you, but I'm not sure the faculty and administration at large universities only look at dollars and cents (see, e.g. Utah's obsession with Pac-10 academic prowess).Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

How is that P12 academic snobbery working out these days? You think the networks care about "cultural cohesion" when they put a value on the product?Originally posted by Green Monstah View Post

Yeah, that snobbery worked out great when they had the LA market in the house.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

Good heavens, the B12 has operated just fine with Baylor in the conference. Religious people watch a lot of sports, likely more sports than woke people.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
