    That was very lawyerly.

BYU is gonna have to make this deal happen. Big Tex won't. Now, fer gawdsakes, lead the doofuses to the deal.

      You contradict yourself, my friend.
Do I really need to respond to this? Is likely always greater than 50%? Shit, I just responded. Ugh. What a fucking waste of my time.

No, it's not the scenario that has me excited. But it's there.
Big East for bball is extremely exciting, I'll give you that. For football, the Big East is not exciting at all.

You are saying very likely is less than 50% chance. Not good with numbers are you?

As much as I want to see BYU join an AQ conference, that version of the Big East seems like a pretty mild step up from the MWC, and would certainly be the worst of the AQ conferences. But maybe that would be a good thing, inasmuch as it would allow BCS berths to be had just for beating down that mediocre conference (cf. UCONN last year).

I do love the idea of a BYU-ND rivalry, even though I think BYU would lose that one about 80%.

Can you imagine having ND, Gtown, etc., in the MC every year??!! Come on!

Viking's unintentional comedy is priceless. This is like Cougarboard on steriods and meth.

"very likely" in context was obviously referring to its likelihood relative to staying independent. Not very good with words are you?

My participation on here is predicated by my demonstrated ability to avoid conflict. Hence, I must ignore you. Regrets.

Finally, an intelligent atheist on this board. That makes one (need to be really clear for Atheist and the other guy)

Part of the allure to the BEAST, as I understand it, is we would play ND in hoops every year and this would build a deeper relationship for beyond just a multi-year 1:1 in FB

I'm just fine with words, thanks. However the quote mentioned two 50% chances, and made no mention of them being separate from each other or being relative to staying independent. Please point out where the post mentioned those were odds vs staying independent?

The "not good with numbers" comment was a direct response to Viking's "fucking waste of time" comment. I get it though, I can't respond in kind, but others can, gotcha.

Golly, you're so persecuted. You'd make a really good mormon. Have you ever wondered where you came from, where you're going, or about the purpose of life? Did you know that revelation didn't stop in Biblical times, and that god continues to call prophets today?
