The ACC is their #1 target? ND has more alumni and fans in Chicago than in every city in the ACC(the exception is New York except that isnt in an ACC city). Throw in the fact that B1G is the geographical fit and its main rivals are in the B1G and PAC12."Be a philosopher. A man can compromise to gain a point. At this point, I'm hoping for an announcement that BYU is in and to have Neinas/Bowlby say "...and there were no leaks." But I have no faith it'll actually happen, and I fear independence is the way of the future.Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Ding, ding, ding! My best guess is they won't go anywhere other than the B1G...and not until they have to.Originally posted by Mormon Red Death View PostThe ACC is their #1 target? No kidding. He pretty much lost all credibility with that statement. I can't see ND headed anywhere else, unless the B1G negotiates itself out of the picture.Originally posted by Mormon Red Death View PostThe ACC is their #1 target? Seriously, statements like this just seem idiotic to me. Maybe I am wrong.
Do any of the ardent supporters on here of BYU (no matter what BYU is right) believe the statement.
Maybe you can enlighten me and let me know where I am wrong thinking that way.

Even if BYU football dies, I won't support the UofU.Originally posted by byu71 View Posthttp://www.cougarboard.com/board/mes...tml?id=8660048

It absolutely made sense because the PAC was in the middle of negotiating a new TV deal and would get a huge bump in the TV $ if they had a CCG. That's the reason for moving to 12 and why it made sense. Unless the TV networks come back to the PAC and tell them that they are going to make significantly more per team by adding Fresno and Boise (or SDSU, BYU, etc), they'll sit at 12. There's no reason the HAVE to go to 16 just because the Jones did.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostIt didn't make sense to expand from 10 and take two schools that were not rivals and geographically from the same area.

They are idiotic. I fall in the camp of supporting BYU more than criticizing, but it's still a stupid post. The one in response telling people who are not busy whining to go support SVU is marginally more stupid.Originally posted by byu71 View Posthttp://www.cougarboard.com/board/mes...tml?id=8660048

I would however like to know if KC is still positive it will eventually happen.
